BY RICHARD SISON | 2017INTRODUCTION Feast of Trumpets is one of the Feasts celebrated during the Fall Feast and observed on the first day of the seventh month of the Hebrew month Tishrei. It is also the 7th New Moon. In relation to our modern calendar, it is between September and October. Leviticus 23:23-25 mentioned that this day is a Shabbathown, a Hebrew word which means "a great or solemn Sabbath". English translation, in many instances, removes the significance of the original Hebrew word and it is simply translated as "rest". During this time, the kings of Israel like David and Solomon was crowned as king. The theme of this Feast is about the "call to return of the workers from the field" and also the "crowning of King of kings or the Messiah". The significance of this Feast is that it is believed to be the appearance of Yeshua when He comes back in great glory. Yeshua Himself prophesied about this in Matt 24:31 when the Great Trumpet will be sounded and His people will be gathered from the four winds. Paul was never silent about this either. He mentioned this in 1 Cor 15:52 and 1 Thes 4;16-17. Even apostle John prophesied this in Revelation 11:15 and prophet Isaiah in Isa 27:13. Watch the Message >>
