The number 7 has several representation as stated above. It deals with perfection or spiritual completeness. It also represents sword or strife a weapon, a “plow" or to be “cut-off”.
In verse 1 of chapter 7, we read that the four angels “cut-off” the wind to hurt the Earth and the sea. We can see here that the verse pertains to Hebraic numerical meaning of the passage.
The sealing of the servants of G-D also deals with “spiritual completion” of the people of the L-RD while verses 9-17 deals with the “resurrection” of the saints and our role in the coming new order of things.

Things to ponder: 1. This passage is a fast forward Rev 21 and 22 2. Many believers will die in the Great Tribulation 3. The identity of believers are retained in glorified body. 4. They are cloth in white robes relating to Rev 22:14 5. Palm branches are in their hands signifying Sukkot. 6. They shall hunger and thirst no more. 7. G-D shall wipe the tears in their eyes.
