Introduction

In the Parsha of Eikev (“Because”), Moshe proceeded with his closing remarks to the people, encouraging them that if they will fulfill the commandments (Heb: mitzvah) of the Torah, they will prosper in the Promised Land they are about to conquer and settle in keeping with the L-RD’s promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

A primary passage in this Parsha is pertaining to the Shema, which repeats the primary mitzvah (commandment) and describes the rewards of fulfilling G‑d’s commandments, which becomes a source of the precept of prayer, and includes a reference to the resurrection of the dead in the messianic age.
because in connection with him were created all things — in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers or authorities — they have all been created through him and for him.

Parsha D'varim: The Words

Introduction

Parsha D'varim covers Deuteronomy 1:1–3:22 and it recounts how Moses appointed tribal chiefs, the account of the Twelve Spies, the encounters with the Edomites and Ammonites, the defeat of kings Sihon and Og, and the allocation of land for the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh East of Jordan.

This parsha is read by the Jewish people around end of July or early August. It is always read on Shabbat Chazon, the Sabbath directly before Tisha B’Av (9th of Av), which is the anniversary of the destruction of the first and second Temple.

So don’t let anyone pass judgment on you in connection with eating and drinking, or in regard to a Jewish festival or Rosh-Hodesh or Shabbat. These are a shadow of things that are coming for the body of the Messiah.

Introduction

Parsha Matot discusses laws of vows, the destruction of Midianite towns, and negotiations of the Reunites and Gadgets to settle land outside of Israel.
Parsha Ma-sei discusses the stations of the Israelites' journeys, instructions for taking the land of Israel, cities for the Levites and refuge, and the daughters of Zelophehad.
Now to him who by his power working in us is able to do far beyond anything we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the Messianic Community and in the Messiah Yeshua from generation to generation forever.
